A friend of mine had a painting in his living room of a landscape with a bridge in the forground. There was a painting painted on top of it of a monster consuming the bridge. I liked the new painting so much, I decided to find my own paintings to paint over. I don’t know if this is a thing people do regularly or not, so I don’t know if there is a name for it, but I call it re-painting.
