I am a mix of Bridget and Carl
So, Here’s what’s up. I just finished reading a book and immediately picked up a new one and am 40 pages in. The thing is… books are too influential over me. When I read them I become the character in them. More-so than any movie or television show or even video games. I see, smell, taste, touch and even think what the person is thinking. It’s weird. Yesterday, I read a part in the book I finished, right after the main character was tricked into wiping out an entire species and then I had to stop reading for class or something. But I found that I hated myself… because he, the main character, hated himself for killing. I was literally mad at the entire human race for being so selfish and hating. All night, I was extra cynical… I couldn’t help it. The book was good though. I finished it today.
I started reading “the perks of being a wallflower”, which has been suggested to me by many people. The book is the letters of a 15 year-old kid. he talks about his experiences in high school and stuff. I really enjoy it. Sometimes, I’m afraid when I read a book like this that the things I read will become memories that I think are mine. I will forget that I read it in a book somewhere and tell it as if i have experienced it: even though I haven’t. I also enjoy certain writing styles and try to imitate them. I’m usually not that good. But even the voice in my head is different depending how I’m feeling, what I’m reading, who is around. I don’t mean like voices telling me what to do. But sometimes I think about what I’m going to say to you. What I’m going to write. so, in my head I speak it. and there is a voice that goes along with it. I am quite weird, I know. But I thought I share that with you.
There is so much more I planned on writing, but I forgot what it was. I’ve been thinking about how I was going to lay out my thoughts for the last 15 minutes, but I don’t think I wrote what I thought I was going to write. oh well, That’s the human mind for you. utter craziness.

“Bridget who is crazy said that sometimes she thought about suicide when commercials come on during TV. She was sincere and this puzzled the guidance counselors. Carl who is nice to everyone said that he felt very sad, but could never kill himself because it is a sin.” -Charlie “the perks of being a wallflower”-
Yeah, Calm Down.
Another weekend… come and gone.
Friday, I had to walk around my residence hall listening for loud people, because last week I was too loud. geez. What a crazy punishment. It really wasn’t that bad. 3 rounds at about 45 minutes each. Hoss came over and in between rounds, we fought each other in Unreal Tournement.
Emily and Patrick (sis and bro) came to visit on saturday. We went and saw The Incredibles. It was a good movie. Although, I think Monsters, Inc. was the height of Pixar’s funniness. The short movie about the Jack-a-lope before the feature was cute.
AFter that, We went to Matt Matz’s room and chilled with Megan and Hoss; ate some pie and stuff. Then Hoss and I went to a Campus Crusade party and we were the only guys there. And what do you think the girls were doing? well, besides reading juicy notes, they were playing Halo on Xbox. That was nuts. Girls playing Halo is probably one of the funniest sites in the world. They aren’t bad at it… they just are very loud and telling about what is going on in the game. When one person is getting shot at, they start frantically screaming and yelling at their character telling them what to do. Imagine this phrase in a loud screaming voice “Hey, Ouch!! I’m getting shot at!! Run, Stacey, Run!! Turn around!! Shoot the gun, shoot the gun!!! OH NO!!! Crap!! Oh boy!! Your going down after I come back to life!!!” crazy, but the food was good.
Today, I got a bunch of reading done most on Ender’s Game. The book Jeff has been recommending to me since 8th grade. It is quite a good book. it is about 20 years old, but still great. I also read a little bit of stuff for script analysis class. I did some things to my blog site, and then I’m going to bed now. Oh dang. it is now tommorow, so the date is going to be screwed up. So… when I said today … I meant yesterday. Ok, good night all.
Fog
There are clouds
And the wind
The wind moves the clouds
What a week… end
so, I was heading home friday and travis (who was driving) suggested that we should go visit Turdipoo in Milwaukee. So, We called him and skipped my house and drove an extra hour to go chill with Ryan. It was fun. We played with his digital rebel (a crazy new robot) and we watched Dawn of the Dead (which is one of the dumbest movies in the world). So, then we went to pick up my bro on saturday morning, but he couldn’t come home with us, so we were like “crap” and then I went to mayville (home). Travis went back to Oshkosh to sleep and weight lift. Anyhow, I was at home and my parents are all like “let’s have a bonfire!” and I’m like “okay” and so I called people and nobody wanted to come and watch a fire in 20 degree weather… oh well. So, Travis came back from Oshkosh, picked me up, and we went back to Oshkosh. Once we were in O-town there was really nothing to do, so we went to Wal-mart and then drove to Fond Du Lac and back for no reason. Then we hung out with jeff and I hung out with Abby, and then I went to bed. Sunday, I woke up at noon and ate food. I went to Wal-mart with Travis to buy a toothbrush. Then we came back to dorms. Then Travis went to Dundee and I hung out with Abby… then everyone got bored and we went to Wal-mart after Travis came back.
So, What I’m trying to say, if you actually read my huge paragraph is that Travis drives way too much….let me try to add up about how much time he drove in his car.
Oshkosh — Milwaukee = 1.6 hours
Milwaukee — Mayville — Oshkosh = 2 hours
Oshkosh — Mayville = .94 hours
Mayville — Oshkosh = .92 hours
Oshkosh — Fon Du Lac — Oshkosh = .97 hours
Oshkosh — Dundee = 1.2 hours
Dundee — Oshkosh = 1.2 hours
Total time driving = 8.83 hours
That’s like a whole working day. geez think of the gas cost alone. I know I threw in about ten bucks. I’m so generous. Anywho, blah blah blah. That was my weekend.

Bob Dylan
So, Tuesday, I went and saw music legend, Bob Dylan perform at our school. It was…. disappointing to say the least. I really felt like paying $27 dollars was too much. I mean I don’t know alot of dylan songs, so that might have been a factor. or maybe it was the fact that I couldn’t understand a single word that came out of Bob’s mouth. He has smoked so much that he sounds like he has a constant wad of flem in his throat. But honestly, I’ll tell you what a modern Bob Dylan song sounds like.
1. Take any sort of common blues band riff and play that the entire time. Guitar, Bass, and drums play the simple theme together, but the keyboard can play notes randomly and bang out the chords once in a while.
2. Put over that what sounds like the cajun assistant coach from waterboy trying to sing. It doesn’t have to be on key or even singing, because the pitches are undeterminable. Also, the words don’t have to be in time with the music. That is the luxury of being a legend.
3. Now throw in a guitar solo that is basically going up and down a scale of notes for about a minute.
4. After the guitar solo, It’s time for Bob’s harmonica… so play two or three repeating notes for about 2 minutes and you’ve got it down. Don’t worry about playing the notes in rythm either.
5. Go back to the scratching…not a turntable, Dylan’s voice. After some time end the song by slowing the song way down and crashing the cymbals extra hard.
That’s it. you’ve made a Bob Dylan song. Congratulations! So, You are probably wondering if I liked the BD Concert. Of course I did. He is a music legend after all.
