I think it is amazing that people have blogs that they can fill out more than once a month. Looking through Xanga.com, I’m amazed people read all that…. and they do…. and they make comments. Man, sometimes I wish I was that popular. but alas, I’m just peter da thomas. but that’s cool too. I mean I suppose you can’t really judge popularity by the number of people that read your blog or make comments on it. why do I even care about it?!? good question, pete. Thanx.
Well, I’m at work and I still love it here. Doing nothing for 3.9 out of 4 hours and getting payed for it can’t be beat with a large stick. Soon, T. Pizzle will prolly come in here and we will watch family guy for a few hours…yes, I mean at work. I know that you are all jealous now. That’s what i was going for. ok, not really. but I’m bored…. happily bored. I could do homework, but that requires…. something….. i’m sure that it is something I don’t want to have to be required of me.
I might be going to chicago on friday to attend a billy corgan book signing. oh man, that’d be so sweet. just to see him…. in person…. like 2 feet away…. it’s crazy. That raises another question why does he have such a status that I would get excited to do that? it’s not like I can use this experience on a resume…. he isn’t going to say “hello peter simon, come join me on my road trip”. it is just going to be me handing him his book that I only bought for him to sign and then him signing it and me getting nervous and saying something like “uhm…. Hi billy…… I really like….uhm… the smashing pumpkins” then him ignoring me and asking for the next person. i guess in the back of my mind I think that if I can keep the signed book i can show it off to make people even more jealous of me than they already are about my job. i guess that makes sense.
Where
When a peaceful lake’s reflection of a star filled midnight sky
_____is only unsettled by the wake of a lone canoe
That’s God__________That is where I have seen Him
When drums are thumping behind the ever changing strum of guitars
_____the pounding of the piano’s white keys and the gorgeous melodies of a singer
That’s God__________That is where I have heard His voice
And in late December, when a family returns from a day of caroling
_____and the beautiful smell of cold fills the room
That’s God__________That is where I have smelled His aroma
When a hike in the woods among the streams and trees
_____a wild berry bush is found and a new flavor discoverd
That’s God__________That is where I have tasted Him
And when a long trip is going to be had and a loved one has tears in their eyes
_____When an embrace becomes timeless
That’s God__________That is where I have felt His Love
You ask where is God in this world…
